Popular reality TV personality Whitemoney has sparked controversy online after revealing that he pays his staff of approximately 150 people up to five years in advance.
During a recent appearance on the Echo Room podcast, Whitemoney confirmed the surprising claim, stating that this approach helps him avoid the stress of keeping track of payments.
The interviewer asked …
“I have heard that you pay staff members couple years in advance, 5 years, 3 years, is this true?”
Whitemoney responded … “It is true, I operate on that system because it helps me get my mind off things because I am a multi-versatile person. I do a lot of things, and I can easily get carried away.”
The interviewed enquired …
“How many staff members do you have?”
Whitemoney replied: “Currently 150.”
Reacting to this claims, one @Wizarab10 said: “If all his staff were earning 30k minimum wage and he paid them 5 years in advance, that would amount to N270 million.
@Oladapomikky1 commented: “Off the top of my head, only 2 BBN winners have come out to show winning wasn’t a ridiculous decision. Miracle, and Laycon. The rest ehn…kpish”
Whitemoney had earlier revealed that her money took her far on the show, not fans.
In a recent conversation with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel, Whitemoney revealed that he wasn’t surprised when he was evicted, as he had already anticipated not winning the show.
