Miss Universe Nigeria Mitchel Ihezue is gearing up to relinquish her crown. She made the announcement on her Instagram account recently.
According to her, she will be handing over her crown to another queen on August 31, 2024.
The beauty queen said that the memories and pride of representing Nigeria as Miss Universe 2023 will remain with her forever. Mitchel Ihezue wrote:
In her farewell note, she appreciated all the people who made her reign a memorable one.
The beauty queen added that she is thankful for the opportunities her reign brought her way, noting that she was given the privilege twice. Mitchel Ihezue added:

She represented Nigeria at the 72nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant held in El Salvador on November 18, 2023.

The beauty queen became the centre of attention after her husband gifted her another variant to the lush car she received as a wedding present months back.
Mitchel shared a video of herself receiving her gift in the comfort of their home and revealed how surprised she was by it.
