Media personality, Shade Ladipo, has shared her personal stance on the tradition of changing names after marriage, urging women to carefully consider the implications before making such a decision.
The media personality expressed delight in her decision not to hastily change her name when she got married.
Highlighting the significant investment of over two decades in building her personal brand as “Shade Ladipo,”she emphasized the reluctance to forfeit this hard-earned identity overnight due to marriage.
Addressing newly wedded women directly, Ladipo cautioned against rushing into name changes, particularly on legal documents.
