In a recent Instagram post, popular social media influencer, Tunde Ednut shared a humorous yet insightful story from his past.
Ednut recounted an incident from 2017 in the United States involving Peter Okoye, one half of the famous Nigerian music duo P-Square.
The anecdote took place during a visit to a strip club, where Ednut found himself in an unexpected situation that ultimately provided a valuable life lesson.
According to Ednut, Peter Okoye invited him to the strip club during a time when he was financially struggling.
As part of the evening’s entertainment, Okoye handed Ednut a bundle of one-dollar bills to spray on the strippers.
However, given his financial state, Ednut made a different choice. Instead of spending the money as intended, he discreetly pocketed the cash and left the club, leaving Peter Okoye and his friends behind.
He subsequently thanked Peter for the unexpected windfall, as he expressed his gratitude.
Reflecting on the incident, Ednut advised his followers to always be calculative and make smart decisions, especially during financially challenging times.
He wrote:
“2017, in America. Peter Psquare carry me go strip club. I was broke.
He gave me bundle of one one dollar to spray on top n@ked women wey dey dance. Omo, I pocket am, left him, his friends and went home. He made my night.
Me wey broke, make I spray wetin? I shall see you guys later. UWESE OO!
