What I love about Nigerians – SteffLondon

British Jamaican rapper Stephanie Victoria Allen, popularly known as SteffLondon, has expressed her admiration for Nigeria and its culture.

In a recent interview with radio host Henrieveill, she shared her fondness for various aspects of Nigerian culture.

When asked about her favorite things about Nigeria, SteffLondon listed music, food, and the people, highlighting their humor, vibrancy, and colorful nature.

She drew comparisons between Nigerians and Jamaicans, noting their shared warmth and energy.

SteffLondon also expressed her appreciation for Nigerian traditions, stating that their traditions are more intact than those in Jamaica.

She believes that Jamaicans have lost some of their cultural heritage, leaving them with mainly dancehall, good food, and a friendly demeanor.

She said:

Ooh, my gosh, there’s so many things, music, food. I like the people, the banter. They are so funny, very vibrant, and very colourful, like everything is in your face. It’s very loud. They remind me of Jamaicans but in a different way.”

“I like their tradition; I feel like, as Jamaicans, we’ve been stripped of that. We’ve just got dancehall, good food and vibes. we are just nice people, but we ain’t really got; the cultural aspect has been taken away from us.”
