TV presenter Lady Bi has publicly supported Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede, while criticizing the actress’ ex-husband for being jobless and financially dependent.
This comes after Yvonne Jegede’s revelations about her marriage during a podcast interview, where she expressed regret over choosing love over financial stability.
Yvonne Jegede pointed out how financial imbalance and other issues led to the dissolution of her marriage.
She shared that her ex-husband began interpreting minor disagreements as acts of disrespect, further straining their relationship. She also noted that she was the primary breadwinner throughout their marriage.
In a Twitter post, Lady Bi, who claims to have known Jegede’s ex-husband, Abounce, for years, reinforced Jegede’s account.
Lady Bi revealed that Abounce was jobless for a significant period and was financially dependent on his mother.
Lady Bi further disclosed that the community anticipated the eventual divorce due to Abounce’s financial instability.
The TV presenter recalled how Yvonne Jegede’s ex-husband, Abounce often bought Pepsi for the actress on credit from her mother’s shop.

“I lived next to Abounce growing up, in fact he was like a “Egbon Adugbo” to me and i categorically tell u for the years I knew him, he had no job! He was living on my mum is “Iya bukky Ajayi” he was jobless and financially impotent
“When the street heard she was getting married to Abounce, everyone saw a divorce following it, what was on everyone lips was “where he wan see money maintain the marriage”
“When they were dating, the bottled pepsi he use to buy for her was from my mum’s shop and it was on credit (he never paid for most )
