Actress Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Kazim Adeoti, who is a movie marketer has sparked controversy online after a video of him and his first wife went viral.
Kazim Adeoti, also known as Adekaz and his first wife, Funsho Adeoti reunited at a Minnesota, U.S. party, on Saturday, June 8, their first public encounter since the movie marketer married Mercy Aigbe.
It’s no news that Funsho isn’t pleased that her husband took a second wife. Despite Kazim’s efforts to reconcile, Funsho remained indignant, highlighting ongoing tensions in their polygamous marriage.
In the now viral video which was broadcast on social media platforms on Sunday night, Kazim was captured with other men spraying money on Funsho, who smiled at the others while ignoring her husband.
Although Funsho who was seated did not say anything to Kazim in the short clip, she made sure to gather her money with poise, as the dollar bills fell on her from different angles.
Another highlight of the moment asides her looking aloof while her husband sprayed a bundle of money on her, was when he cautioned his friend to stop throwing money at his wife in a disrespectful manner.
Many believe Kazim’s action could be interpreted as an attempt to mend fences or display generosity. However, Funsho’s indifferent response suggests ongoing tensions.
