Davido’s late mum, Veronica Adeleke was a renowned Nigerian singer and university lecturer.
She was best known as the wife to Nigerian billionaire Adedeji Adeleke.
Before her demise in 2003, Veronica worked as a lecturer at Babcock University in Ilishan-Remo, Nigeria. She had also founded a band known as David’s Band, which released a few tracks.
