Nigerian superstar Davido Adeleke has captured the attention of social media users by requesting Bitcoin as a gift from his guests.
The ceremony, which took place yesterday, saw the popular musician informing his hundreds of attendees about the preferred currencies for wedding gifts.
During the event, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the master of ceremonies, initially informed the guests that they could give gifts in pounds, euros, or dollars.
However, Davido took the microphone to add another option, stating that he also accepts Bitcoin transfers, rejecting the option of future payments.

In other news, Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has revealed a vision his dad, Deji Adeleke, told him he had about him.
The ‘OBO’ crooner stated that his dad told him that he had a vision that he would end his music career as a gospel singer.
Davido disclosed this during a chat with some guests at his wedding on Tuesday, June 25.
