Chacha Eke finally reconciles with mother after years of mental struggle

Popular Nigerian actress Chacha Eke Faani has publicly reconciled with her mother, Barrister Mrs. Elizabeth Eke, while celebrating her birthday.

Known for her openness about her struggle with bipolar disorder, Chacha Eke shared a touching tribute on social media, expressing her gratitude and joy over their renewed bond.

Chacha Eke, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder several years ago, has been opened about the profound impact it has had on her life.

She revealed that her illness led to destructive behaviors, including an incident where she traveled to Ghana using a fake ID.

Her mental health struggles also strained her relationship with her mother, as she confessed to being misled by certain pastors into believing that her mother was her enemy.

She wrote;

“This beautiful woman i’m holding onto in these photos is the warrior that birthed me. I mean, she is MY BIOLOGICAL MOTHER 😍

As she marks her birthday today, I’m grateful to God that the chemical reaction that displaced her identity in my memory reoccurred, and she regained her daughter.

I have 3 daughters and I cannot imagine the untold trauma of being forgotten by any of them.

Using my mom as a point of reference, I pray that there be a physical & psychological release on anyone suffering any form of mental & spiritual captivity. 🙏🏾

Happy birthday to my Mummy; Barrister Mrs Elizabeth Eke. My first role model👑
Proud Grandmother to 9 beautiful children 😍😍😍
