Media personality Ossai Ovie Success has expressed his opinion on Paul Okoye’s recent traditional marriage ceremony, criticizing the singer for his actions during the event.

Recall that earlier this week reports had it that Paul Okoye had officially tied the knot with his girlfriend, Ivy Ifeoma, in a traditional ceremony.
Videos captured online show the singer and Ivy celebrating at the bride’s hometown of Igbere, Abia State as they embarked on the needful.
However, Ossai Ovie Success focused on a specific image where an elder was praying for the couple, pointing out that Paul Okoye’s decision to keep his red cap on during the prayer was seen as disrespectful.
Ossai Ovie Success emphasized that the elder in question holds a significant position not only as an elder but also as an in-law, and therefore should have been shown more respect.
Ossai Ovie Success believes that this oversight is indicative of a larger issue among young people today, who often prioritize wealth and status over cultural values and respect for their elders.
He stated:
“This is a total disrespect for the elder praying .
An elder is praying for Rudeboy of P Square during his traditional marriage days back and he is putting on cap.
Out of respect for the elder and his prayer , he ought to have pull off his cap while receiving prayer .
The man is not just an elder but an inlaw to him.
Young guys of nowadays lack respect because of money in their possession.
This is disrespect to the elder , his prayer and also to culture.
