Controversial singer, Speed Darlington, has taken a swipe at his colleague Portable following his arrest over an unpaid car debt.
Recall that Portable was taken into custody by the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday for failing to settle a debt incurred from buying a G-Wagon from a local car dealer.
In a mocking tone, Speed Darlington ridiculed Portable for pretending to be a superstar while struggling with financial obligations.
Speed Darlington prides himself on living within his means, revealing that his Benz is an impressive 18 years old.
emphasizing on his financial prudence Speed Darlington said:
“You see Portable jumping the fence? He’s in trouble! A Yoruba superstar can’t even afford a Benz [laughs].”
Speed Darlington , stating, “Nobody is looking for me; everything is cash and carry. I don’t bite off more than I can chew. Portable flaunted his GLE, but he couldn’t pay for it. My Benz may be 18 years old, but I have peace of mind. I can’t jump the fence like Portable.”
Few hours ago, Portable broke silence following police arrest.
In a poignant Instagram post, the controversial crooner hailed God to be greater than everything.
He wrote:
“GOD IS BIGGER THAN EVERYTHING Amen if you believe so.
God Over Everything 🙏🙏🙏.”
The post which didn’t provide any update about his arrest left fans speculating on whether he has been released or not.
