Social justice activist and critic, Charles Ogbu, believes that Nollywood actor Yul Edochie should be recognized as the most insensitive individual between 2023 and 2024.
This was in response to a post made by Yul, where he claimed that his late colleague, Junior Pope, had repeatedly betrayed him despite his support during difficult times.
Yul shared that he had refrained from speaking out until after Junior Pope’s burial, as he considered him a close friend and felt let down by his actions.
“I didn’t want to say anything till after his burial. I know many asked why I wasn’t there. Why I haven’t said anything about it since.
“I took him like a brother & good friend. I was there for him when he needed me. But he stabbed me in the back repeatedly. That’s life!
“I’ll drop the full details soon so others can learn from it.” Yul wrote on his Instagram page.
However, Charles Ogbu criticized Yul’s post, calling it insensitive and nonsensical on his Facebook page.
In Ogbu’s view, Yul Edochie should be awarded the title of the most insensitive person for the years 2023 and 2024.
He highlighted the absurdity of Yul’s words concerning the late Junior Pope, emphasizing his strong disapproval of Yul’s actions.

Within Nigeria recalls that Junior Pope died on the 11th of April at the age of 43.
