“I signed an NDA before collaborating with Beyoncé” – Tems

Nigerian singer Tems has shared details about her experience collaborating with American superstar Beyoncé on her 2022 album “Renaissance.”

In an interview with the New York Times, Tems revealed the initial shock and excitement she felt when she learned about the opportunity.

During her conversation with Culture Reporter Reggie Ugwu, Tems recounted receiving a message from her team that required immediate attention.

“My team just messaged me like, ‘Yo, first of all, I have to send you something to sign.’ I was losing my mind. Like, What?!” she said.

The singer explained that the message included a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) which she had to sign before proceeding.

After signing the NDA, Tems revealed that she was then invited to Los Angeles to collaborate in the studio.

The collaboration resulted in the track “Move,” featured on Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated album “Renaissance.”

Besides Beyonce, Tems has also worked with other high-profile artists, including Drake, Rihanna, and Future.

Notably, she featured on Future’s Grammy-winning track “Wait For U,” which also includes a collaboration with Drake.

Tems was present at this year’s annual Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Brunch which took place On 4th February, 2023.

The Talented Nigerian Singer who was wearing a stunning white dress was seen having a casual conversation with the Roc Nation founder Jay-Z and his wife the beautiful singer-songwriter Beyoncé.

The Pre-Grammy brunch was held at a private residence in Bel-Air, Los Angeles.
