"I am not a born-again Christian": Wike drops bombshell amid Fubara's claim on Rivers assembly

This comes after Governor Siminalayi Fubara said the Rivers State House of Assembly was part of his property, adding that he was bound to manage it and had visited the facility as governor.

Governor Fubara made the comment during his visit to the assembly complex. He also endorsed a factional speaker of the house, Victor Oko-Jumbo, who emerged on Thursday, May 9.

TimesNow.com.ng earlier reported that Rivers State local government chairmen have called for Governor Fubara’s impeachment.

Under the umbrella of ALGON, the chairmen alleged that the governor has been withholding the councils’ funds, making them dysfunctional in their administrative responsibilities.

ALGON described the governor’s action as tantamount to proscribing the local governments in the state.
