Fuji icon, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma recently took to social media to commemorate his daughter, Aliyah Mofiyinfoluwa Odetola, for her recent academic milestone.
Pasuma proudly shared the news on his verified Instagram account, revealing that he was present to witness Aliyah’s graduation from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in Chicago, USA.
Aliyah successfully obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the prestigious School of Integrative Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2024.
Notably, she was recognized as part of the class of 2024 and received an Academic Achievement Programme award for her outstanding performance.
The graduation ceremony took place at the Tryon Festival Theatre, located within the Krannert Centre for the Performing Arts.
Pasuma expressed his joy and pride by posting a video capturing moments from the ceremony on his official Instagram page.
In the heartfelt post, he celebrated his daughter’s accomplishment and the culmination of her educational journey.
He wrote:
“Haliamdulilahi Robin Al’amin,my daughter Aliyah Mofiyinfoluwa Odetola just graduated at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign Chicago with honorary “Modupe Olohun Oba 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼Anu nimori gba ki shagbara.”
